The new Mindlabs building is located in the heart of Tilburg's Spoorzone, the area north of the city centre. Right next to the LocHal, to be precise. Our new premises was brought into use at the beginning of 2023. The building is an innovation centre, bringing education, research and business together under one roof. The close proximity contributes to a lively ecosystem where the partners cooperate on innovation. This beautiful building offers all kinds of possibilities for meeting, inspiration and research. MindLabs provides a diverse and appealing programme all year round.

Owners are the municipality of Tilburg and Fontys University of Applied Sciences, which houses the School of Journalism (FHJ) here. Other MindLabs partners rent part of the premises. Larger tenants include DPG Media, Onderwijsgroep Tilburg, Tilburg University and Zwijsen.
MindLabs is located on the site of Hall 70. This old railway hall was renovated and enlarged with new construction according to a design by Ector Hoogstad Architecten. The steel trusses of Hall 70 are reused in the new situation and comprise the vibrant heart of MindLabs. This is an 'knowledge exchange floor' with room for exhibitions, events and informal get-togethers.
The inside of the building is decorated with striking works of art. An enlarged photograph of the original NS maintenance facility (now the MindLabs building) emphasizes the history of the building. And with a real AI artwork of considerable size, there is also a strong focus on the future.
