Johannes Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earring" temporarily moved from the Mauritshuis in The Hague to the Rijksmuseum. What do you do when your most famous painting moves out? The Mauritshuis called on artists to create a work inspired by this unique specimen. Julian van Dieken created "A Girl With Glowing Earrings" using artificial intelligence and secured a place in the museum. But is this allowed; art made by artificial intelligence? There are different opinions on this. Erdinç Saçan of Fontys University of Applied Sciences talked about this in the following episode of the NOS Jeugdjournaal.
