Trendnacht 2022: Economic (R)evolution

Event

The Trendnacht is a two-yearly event organized by BrabantKennis. During this evening about 300 interested people take part in a stimulating program with leading thinkers, scientists and entrepreneurs. The evening helps us to explore the future and open our eyes for what is to come. With Trendnacht we offer administrators, policy makers, public professionals and interested citizens a place to exchange new insights and inspire each other. By linking perspectives and knowledge from inside and outside to the Brabant as it is today, we get to know our tasks and the future better. This way we learn to understand Brabant a little better together.

During Trendnacht 2022, we focus together on an Economic (R)evolution. We increasingly doubt whether more economic growth is the solution for a better future. Is growth always necessary or can we do with less? Is more always better? Our supplies are running out, nature is suffering under severe pressure. Consumption, production, capacity are hitting the edges everywhere. So, it is time to ask: how can we do things differently?

We explore the possibilities of a new balance in the future. Who do we want to be as Brabant? We must bear it together and work together. The possibilities are endless, but where do they converge and how can they reinforce each other? Who are the demolishers, boosters, champions of yesterday, today and tomorrow?
